Monday, May 4 - Wednesday, May 6 will be End of Year PARCC Testing. Breakfast will not be free for all students during testing, so please make sure your child eats a good breakfast before leaving home. Also, make sure your child arrives to school on time (before 7:45).

2014-2015 Yearbook Sale

The 2014-2015 yearbook has arrived. The yearbook has a soft laminated cover. It is filled with fun colored photos. Please send cash or a check (made out to Franklinton Elementary School) to your child’s homeroom teacher. There are a limited number of yearbooks left! Don't delay send your money today in order to receive your yearbook. Each yearbook cost $17.

FES Fun Day!!!

FES will hold Fun Day on Wednesday, May 20th. On this day, students will celebrate a year of academic and behavioral success. In order to make this  day a memorable one, FES is in need of your assistance. Two to three parent volunteers are needed for each homeroom. We will need volunteers to be here by 8:00 a.m. and stay until 11:30 a.m. If you are able to volunteer on this day, please contact your child's homeroom teacher as soon as possible. Also, parents from each grade level are asked to donate the following items:

3rd Grade: Store-bought snack cakes (1 box, individually wrapped)

4th Grade: Coca-Cola brand cokes (one 12 pack cans)

5th Grade: Snack-size candy bars (1 bag)

Please send all items to FES by Friday, May 15th. All students who turn in their items by 8:00 a.m. on May 15th will receive a free dress pass for Monday, May 18th. Your continued support of FES is greatly appreciated. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact the school (839-3580).
